After a while of walking around McLeans Auto Wreckers in the cold wet weather, I found this spot. Here I have a white LED light in the van, car and truck with different coloured gels. The first frame I painted the foreground and there are about 60 star frames. I learned how difficult the condensation of the lens can be very difficult. When back home I found ways to prevent condensation like tieing hand warmers around the lens or keeping a fan on it.

I used Triggertrap's star trail feature with the settings of 10 exposures of 30 seconds, with a gap between each of 5 seconds. I really liked using the Triggertrap and I highly recommend it if you can get your hands on one.

I think I learned a lot from this series and I hope these have brought you some inspiration for your own photos.
